Faxity is a booking tool used by small, appointment-based businesses in the UK. This page explains, in plain language, what personal data we collect and why.
What we collect
When you book an appointment through a business's Faxity page, we collect your name and phone number, the appointment details, and a record of any deposit payment. That's it — we don't collect health information, ID documents, or anything beyond what's needed to hold your booking.
Why we collect it
Your name and phone number are used to confirm your booking, send reminders, and contact you if the business needs to reach you about your appointment. Payment details for deposits are handled directly by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
Who can see it
Only the business you booked with can see your booking details. We don't sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
Automated messages
Some messages you receive (booking confirmations, reminders, or replies to a missed call) are sent by an automated system, not a person. If you ask whether you're talking to a real person, we'll always tell you honestly that it's an automated assistant.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records for as long as the business's account is active, so they can resolve any dispute about a charge. You can ask the business you booked with to delete your data at any time.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. Contact the business you booked with directly, and they can reach us if they need help.
